Stuart Thomas Ecologist & Wildlife Consultant

Stuart Thomas is an experienced ecologist & wildlife consultant based near Oswestry, Shropshire on the Welsh border.  He has been an ecologist for six years following a further seven working on and managing several National Nature Reserves across the UK as well as work overseas. He is also a full member of The Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (IEEM). He specialises in working offshore and undertakes seabird and sea mammal surveys for windfarm sites and other offshore developments to recognised standards and methodologies.

He is centrally placed and can offer a diverse variety of ecological services and survey skills for developments both on and offshore. These can be used directly by developers or by larger consultancies wishing to undertake ecological surveys.

Although a specialist in ornithological surveys he can undertake surveys for reptiles and amphibians, land mammals, bats and botany. There is also a range of associates who can be called upon with more specific species skills.
